about

About this Track:
Written in the Stars is about finding the divine in all the wonders of our universe rather than the worshiping of a God or Deity. It is about accepting what life has in store for you and trusting the process, while also having trust in yourself that you and you alone know what is best for yourself. Find guidance from the stars above as well as from the voice inside your head, heart, and gut. The song begins so delicately, with raw and exposed vocals over shimmering synth, and grows into a “Producers fantasy dream” - layers upon layers upon layers of swirling galaxy atmospheric wall of sound. Just when you think it can’t possibly get any bigger - it kicks it up another notch and continues to grow and swell like the ever expanding universe.

lyrics

Lyrics:
Watch the bright stars, see the moon
Watch the bright stars, make you move

Stayed with you ‘til early morning
Must’ve missed the sailor’s warning
Polaroid for instant delight
But Polar winds - they bring the ice.

It was written in the stars that we have far to go.

You can say you have a choice but in the dark there’s one sole voice
You can reason, you can rhyme but Polaris writes the paradigm.

There’s no time frame - just a frame of mind
Pull me close like the moon pulls the tide
Try and try and try and then watch the bright stars rise again.

Look up and find what’s been outlined
Take the cure for peace of mind.
